Gossamer Press, a micro-publishing platform, intertwines female-driven textile crafts with digital realms, adopting annon-linear approach akin to navigating a web. Exploring concepts like 'Warp,' 'Weft,' and 'Gap,' it connects physical and digital realms, uncovering hidden narratives and challenging historical erasure, presenting a dynamic view of interconnected webs.

GP functions via physical mail, printed matter, and online open-source publishing.

GP is founded by Lejla Vala Verheus and is part of an ongoing research on open-source methodologies in textile craft and the digital realm, drawing upon her background as a critical fashion practitioner and graphic designer. With a BA in Graphic Design from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and ongoing studies in Critical Fashion Practices at ArtEZ, Lejla aims to create new narratives in the fashion realm. She achieves this by rediscovering overlooked codes and relationships, questioning traditional publishing methods, and blending fashion with printed media.

Gossamer, noun /ˈɡɒs.ə.mə/; The very thin thread that spiders produce to make webs.
